№ 03Co-founder Match · two to four people
Agree on a name without the argument.
You each swipe the same names, alone. Only the names everyone kept are revealed. Nobody has to say they hated the other person's favourite.
§ 03.1How it works
Private swipes, public overlap.
Two people rarely agree on a name out loud. Swiping first, alone, shows what you actually share.
- Step 01
Open a room
Use your shortlist, type up to 30 names, or have a deck dealt from a one-line brief. Swipe it first, then you get a link and a QR code.
- Step 02
Send the link
Your co-founder opens it on their phone and swipes the same names alone. Up to four people can join one room.
- Step 03
See only the overlap
A Venn diagram shows your own keeps and the names everybody kept. Names only one person liked stay private, and swipes are final once a second person has swiped.
Q.01Can my co-founder see which names I passed on?
No. The room stores each person's swipes, but the page only ever shows you your own choices and the names everyone kept. A name you passed on is never revealed to anyone, even if everyone else loved it, and nobody's keep totals or per-name counts are sent to your browser. One honest caveat: if you keep every name, the names everyone kept are simply whatever the others kept, so pass on the ones you really don't want.
Q.02Can I change my swipes after sending them?
Only while you are the only person who has swiped. Once a second person has swiped, everyone's swipes are final. That is what stops anyone re-swiping with different choices to work out what somebody else picked.
Q.03Does my co-founder need an account?
No. The room link is the whole invitation. Each phone or browser is recognised by a random ID stored on that device, so coming back later shows the same results.
Q.04How long does a room last?
Thirty days after its last swipe. After that the link shows an expired page and the names are deleted. If the room service is down, you will see a plain message instead of a spinner and nothing is half-saved.
